Procedure
• Financial Vision provides advice on where to invest your money.
• You write your cheques out directly to the institution concerned and cross them 'NOT NEGOTIABLE'.
• We give you a photocopy of your cheque and your signed Transaction Authorisation Form to action your investment programme.
• We log your investment on to our computers for monitoring purposes.
• The investment institution confirms receipt of your cheque and the initiation of your investment programme directly to you.
• We report to you periodically under our portfolio monitoring programme.

Financial Vision remains to one side as an independent and an unbiased advisor.

PORTFOLIO MONITORING SERVICE

For larger investors we offer a powerful and highly secure electronic portfolio monitoring service (the PMS option) via the Aegis service. Aegis Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of ASB Group (Life) Ltd which in turn is a member of the Australian Commonwealth Bank Group. A key benefit for investors is thus "bank standard" portfolio security. Aegis is the largest service to its type in New Zealand and total funds under management via Aegis exceed $5 billion.

Essentially this service utilises the latest computer technology to facilitate holding and trading investments and securities on your behalf. Under this system, there are no entrance or exit fees, no brokerage and no trail fees. Essentially, it is a "bulked" wholesale custodial system which effectively pays for itself via wholesale fund fee discounts, 100% refunds of entrance and exit fees, and 100% rebates of trial brokerage. Other benefits provided include access to high interest rates, reliable computer produced valuation and transaction reports, and an annual tax statement.

In addition to lower fees and less tax, the system is light years faster and more efficient than old style, paper based, retail portfolio management systems. Portfolio valuation is done automatically on a daily basis by the Aegis computers, fees are deducted "painlessly" monthly in arrears from the portfolio itself, and paperwork and administration hassles are virtually eliminated. Ultimately, these huge efficiencies allow us to concentrate more time on identifying the best investments for you thereby saving you time and money and generating higher portfolio returns for you.

RESEARCH

We receive comprehensive research published by independent research houses covering New Zealand, Australian and international wholesale and retail unit trusts, fixed interest securities, and shares. We also receive research covering insurance bonds and registered superannuation schemes. In addition, we receive a continuous flow of financial and economic information on, interest rates, inflation trends, currencies, etc from fund managers and economists from around the globe covering all major international markets.
